The Last Straw

My shoulder hurts as I just finished a gruelling 2 or 3 hours of work out. However, it won’t hurt that much creating this profile for a simple reason; lack of respect. From the start, I didn’t want another social network profile. I’ve had enough. I’m contented with multiply, blogspot, and my mini micro PLU sites.
It was then agreed (since we were “required” by the school for my Masters to have a FB account) that we’ll be creating a couple or rather, a joint account. However, it was the last straw. I MAGICALLY got untagged just because I was sooooooooo little in the picture. We already talked about this before. One event status became MAGICALLY not attending. There were A LOT of previous things that MAGICALLY happen, or disappear without me being informed.
Anyway, it was you who pushed this to be created, and you already know the circumstances and the consequences, I told you, I’m here to make you happy, but it doesn’t necessarily mean I’ve changed. I’m still that nice boy if you’re nice, be the opposite and you‘ll know what.
I’ll just make this short since there will be new notes that will come our way. Meantime, this will serve as a warning, and a reminder that I love you, but I have my limit.
You shouldn't worry though, I still will be the one to cook for you as I have promised, make you giggle before you sleep, I'll make sure you're smiling before you close your eyes, and will be doing that until your hair is white. So don't fret.
Husband

Of weekends and announcements (and special mentions)

What happened this weekend was quite peculiar. I was doing my weekend to do list when Saturday morning, husband asked me to go with him and spend the weekend over at their place in Laguna. I’m already finished with my to do list- wash my white shirts, arrange my files and important documents. However, he insisted me to go with him. Out of love, and those pa-cute ways and cuddles of him; I lost the battle. I was pissed off though when he was about to text tita “Sasama si Mark pauwi dyan.”(Mark will go with me there). I was like… what the?!? You invited me even though I already have plans (STRIKE 1!) and you’ll tell her I want to go!? STRIKE 2!
We then prepared going to his hometown in San Pablo. Tita Madel(his mom) welcomed us with my favorite Beef Asado, we surprised her though with ice cream. After our hearty meal, I watched television first before joining husband for an afternoon siesta. Tita woke us up since we are to attend Joey’s birthday party; husband’s 10 year old cousin. It was rather a fun party since I was able to meet tita’s elder brother and see tita Pinky’s cute shitzus; Lucky and Jasmine. After the party, it was nice to see his whole family being warm to me especially his lola who keep on saying “Sana dito ka na every weekend!” (I hope you’re here every weekend!) We went back to their home and took a rest, I told him that we need to go before lunch since we still need to attend mass plus, I have a shift at 8pm.
Sunday morning, we then ate again, a hearty meal courtesy of his mom and we were on our way back to the metro. We attended mass at Megamall and went home for me to prepare for work. I didn’t get enough sleep and I told him not to do that again; unplanned trips. He knows how I get stressed when I don’t get enough sleep before work. STRIKE 3! I visited MCC, and boy, the room was overflowing! There were lots of guests last Sunday! Too bad I wasn’t/can’t join them. Then, before I went to work and ate “breakfast” at Pizza Hut, since I really have this nasty headache thus, the picture on this entry. A couple of friends requested that I pos t my new hairdo too.

I’m excited to join the theorg-y on Sept 1. It’s just like coming out, again… and again… and again… I’m already doing the draft because I want this to be special; just like my old coming out moments. Funny though, I have yet to email the owner of the theorg-y; he posted my “other” blog site. Hahhaha!!
Already bought groceries yesterday, excited to become a full time house-band! Cooking for husband! Tita asked me if I know how to cook, I told her not like her, but yeah, I know a couple of dishes or two, and pasta! She said she’s hoping I could teach her son (husband) on how to cook since both of them (him and his brother) don’t know how to dance with pots and pans. Inside, I just told myself, that’s why we’re here for tita…
Excited for this weekend for our GAWAD Kamustahan, Bi El (Bahay Laguna) Day and General Assembly, I miss my GAWAD family!
Excited this Friday because we'll be buying his Nokia N8 and my Ericsson phone, a bit pissed because I still can't decide which phone to buy and getting more pissed because Satio and Aino joined the list. Though, I already crossed out Xperia and Xperia Mini since it wasn't really worth the price, plus Xperia is sooooooo big. We tried Satio and Aino last Friday and damn, I really love them, with Vivaz of course.
Then, to finalize it all, we're both excited to watch Mamarazzi, of course, by our very own Eugene Domingo. YAY!
Special Mentions to!
Sheenah, and her wonderful baby Danah! Her pictures work wonders; stress and anger disappears! Smile suddenly appears!
ex-bf Euan, visited last Friday before going to a party.
Rajsh, the queen of drafts! your highness! Hahaha!!
J_ _ _ r_ _, good luck stalking, errr hunting him! Hahaha! You're lucky you're on the same building!

Dead bored sickening bored.
It’s nearly the end of the month, so we’re slacking big time, but it is to our (or rather my) advantage because for some reason, I suddenly didn’t feel well. My mantra last night before going to work was I’m good, I feel good, and I’ m feeling fine. When I arrived at work, I was wearing 3 jackets! Good thing I’m now better, since it wasn’t that busy at work, I was reading Darren Shan’s Cirque Du Freak Book 10 entitled “THE LAKE OF SOULS.” It gets boring on some of the parts so I was skipping that and went on blog hopping. I realized I need to ‘release” these things in my mind.
Last week was actually filled with dreams, from bizarre ones to again; R-18 dreams (details/story at my vaughndraye site), especially after we watched Inception last Monday, I slept the rest of the day in the office and damn I dreamt about inception!
I was to blog those “interesting” dreams from last week, but I didn’t get the time to, since we went back to Manila for my grandmother’s best friend’s birthday party.
I was walking in a village, I think it was near Umali, with my young students and went inside one of my student’s home. They were doing their project while others were just hanging out, watching television. It felt differently; emotionally, since it felt good- bonding with my students, just a bit younger. It was rather cloudy, but no rain, and a couple of minutes, I saw my old high school friends walking. (*That’s the sign I needed to visit Sheenah.)
There were a few details of several dreams that I already forgot.
During the weekend, I filed my LOA for my first semester for my masters. I’ll be returning back to school 2nd semester, since I’ll be on a Friday and Saturday off. I was about to go when this groupies in black screamed at me; my classmates! I asked them,”Sino patay? (Whose dead?)” They gave me a puzzled look, and I gave one too. “You’re all in black!” That’s where they all laughed. They were on their way to eat lunch and invited me to join. I so missed them so much! After their lunch, Andrea one of my two best bud went with me to SM Sta. Mesa to create my 2nd personalized shirt with a label “von draye’ in front. She went back while I went to Cubao to buy a couple of “pasalubongs” at Breadtalk; one of the few stores we don’t have in Los Baños.I packed my things and went to Buendia bus station, and dozed off; big time! I just woke up when I was near Sheenah’s place already! I went down, screaming and knocking the door for hours, but no answer, good thing I bumped into Shelani; her younger sister who opened the door for me. There were lots of stories, however, it was cut short since I still have to go home with my mom’s sinampalukang manok waiting for me! I was so excited for the baby to come out!
I ate like the usual “me” and went to sleep. I woke up with a smile on my face, since I miss my bed. That was it; we were to visit grandma’s bestfriend, celebrating her 86th birthday. After all the fuss, they dropped me off at the condo and prepared for mass. I was happy to see an old face, and old friend Khalel, and he brought someone with him too! We need to go earlier than the usual since husband has a shift that night, we ate dinner before his shift and made it our “celebration” but changed our minds; we didn’t enjoy eating at Tokyo Tokyo Bistro, since their veggies were just peas, corn and carrots. We gave our goodbye kiss and parted our ways. I went home, took a good night rest and woke up Monday morning.
My plan to work out didn’t push through since I was still dead sleepy around 6am, 7am and 8am! I was waiting for husband to wake up, but since he’s sound asleep, I didn’t bother waking him up. You know? When there’s this goodlooking guy at your bed, sleeping soundly (no snores!), with that angelic face, hugging his pillow, you can’t stop and smile, and you just have to let him sleep. After 2 hours, he woke up and we prepared to go to SM to buy him new shoes. I was about to go to the gym after that, however, we then suddenly planned to watch Inception. It was sooooooooooooooooo good! We went home, prepared and went back to the office to sleep. That’s when I kept on dreaming about Inception.Yesterday was one of the weirdest schedules we had; going to work at 4am. We were scheduled for a training at 9am to 1pm. When we checked the place, there were no people. We checked with the organizer, it was cancelled. We logged in and worked for less than an hour and went home. I surprised husband since it was not in the plan for me to go home, because my next shift starts at 1am the next day, and the slow mover that I was, I planned to sleep in the office. Good thing I went home and cuddled and slept holding his hands.

Of husbands and husbands
After I saw him standing, I went up to him and kissed him; yes we do kiss in public. As usual, I always my peripheral vision for people's reaction. None. Good. I gave my goodbyes to my colleagues and went to our new favorite food hub; Mang Inasal. We walked towards there while holding hands, and after we were seated, he gave me the good news. He was accepted as a trainer. I was happy like hell! Finally, being the top performer (Uh, that didn't sound right. *grins), perfect attendance (no late, no absences for almost 3 years!), and garnering the highest stat in his department; which is one of the hardest department of the company.
He can't broadcast it yet since there's no formal announcement done on their department, but given the fact that the interviewer already gave him this "confirmation," I know they were also happy that he passed. I was teasing him that I'll greet him on his wall. Hahaha!! Naughty me! Since I (hope and) think that nobody on his office reads my blog; I'm just happy to announce it here!
For the past few days I was stressed out and down, but yesterday morning, everything changed. I now feel better and uplifted and I'm just so happy for him, and so proud of my husband!
Before we went home I told him to offer a thanks giving mass on Sunday and of course, we have to celebrate.

Series of Unfortunate Events;on a Weekend
I went to the gym to work out and was able to work out more than my usual routine. I was really happy since the “pan de sal” is starting to show, so happy, I took some pictures! I created a theme, geeky hunk (I was wearing glasses while taking the pictures), but I can’t post the pictures, tell you later why. I then met husband after that and decided to eat lunch. We were talking and suddenly, he had a mental block which made me red mad; he forgot where we celebrated/ate after our blessing last year.
We, or rather, I was trying to cool down so we went to Timezone since they were offering 100php for 50php only! So we killed time at this new game (Egyptian themed shooting game) WE took pictures however, I won’t be able to post it here, I’ll tell you why; later.
We then watched The Sorcerer’s Apprentice, I didn’t enjoy the movie that much, and husband loved it, we went out and was surprised to see that it was raining hard. Riding the MRT, I first checked my pockets if everything is complete; wallet-check, sun phone-check, globe phone-check, coin purse-check, Zoden-check. So we squeezed our way in and checked my things again, this time, I just told him “SUN ko” (my sun). Husband thought that I still have my sun, so he was calm, but I reiterated that I “lost” my sun, he kinda panicked. I told him to calm down since we’re inside the MRT. I checked my other pockets and it seems that “snatcher” doesn’t have enough money to go home; he included my coin purse.
I then sent an sms to Migs that I won’t be able to attend his party, I really felt bad, I wanted to go but due to the circumstances of what happened, I don’t think I’ll be able to go, all my energy level went down because of that. I just slept it off and woke up early the next day for my dad’s birthday celebration.
Sunday morning, I snuggled husband to go with me and eat breakfast at KFC at Buendia before I ride the bus to Laguna, add up to the misfortunate events; we ended up fighting and so I waited for him to finish his food, and me, hungry like a gay bear, just went to the bus and experienced the excruciating hunger, not being able to sleep, and feeling very cold and down. After I arrived, good thing my beloved (future) sister in law was there to give me a very bright welcome hug and an enlightening beso. She decided to go with me to church Sunday morning, and after the mass, we went to our local town mall since mom asked us to buy some groceries and I ended up buying ice cream too!We then went to Sun shop to block the number(since mine was on postpaid) and apparently, some stupid agent created another account under my name, and when they pulled up the phone number information, it was still under my dad’s name, plus, who created the rule that nobody else except the owner can call in and block the number… Seriously, it was just a request to block the number!? How can I call them since I don’t have a phone!? I don’t want to argue with them anymore, so they blocked it and I told them that I’ll just be requesting a new SIM once I have a new phone. This is a sign for me to buy a new phone, and that is why I won’t be able to share the pictures I took. We went home, enjoyed dad’s birthday party, went back to Manila with brother and future sister in law, and they visited our new place.
They were happy to see husband and the new place too!
It was quite early, so I still have time to catch the MCC mass as well. On my way there, my rubber shoes soles were already tearing down so I decided to go down at SM Savemore near Mantrade MRT Station to buy some sandals. After I went down to Evangelista, a lady told me I dropped something; my sandals. I went back and good thing I found it nearly taken by someone else. Glad I reached the church safe and sound. After the mass, they feast on the macaroni salad and pansit palabok I brought them, and they were all happy, though, I’m particularly happy since I saw my favorite lesbian couple Sam and Crissy were there! They’re both equally cute, beautiful, goddess-muse like kind of beautiful! We all went home and this, time I was happy that the weekend just ended.
Or so I thought…
On my first day at work, I thought I already got used to receiving escalation; apparently not. There are times when you just feel THE stress, I ended up with a very stressful day, good thing I was meeting husband for breakfast. We went home and slept. Tuesday, another escalation, plus the room I reserved for the training I am conducting was also reserved for training. I was so upset that I just conducted the training using one of my colleague’s computer. I ate my lunch and now, I’m too tired and stressed to give my 100% energy to work.
I’ll just have to mantra this out…
WuuuSsaa!!!! Happy Thoughts… Happy Thoughts… Happy Thoughts…

I was moved.
Yep, we were supposed to move in to our new place June 10-13 to give way for proper rest and ample time with the move. However, for some unknown force, which I think you call excitement, we decided to move last weekend. Dad was free that time so we scheduled the move starting Sunday morning.
I was moved.
Last Saturday, it was also a big move for our team since we had our first team bonding with the new comers (*grins) and ate at Gerry’s Grill at MOA and had bowling after that. It was an afternoon filled with fun, laughter and food! Colleague said: “ ‘Di pala magandang kombinasyon ang tawa at busog,”(Full and laughter is not a good combination ), since we were literally laughing our heart out from lunch time to the bowling game. We really had fun and it was nice everyone was happy. After that, I hurriedly went home, while husband and I slept together (since he still has shift that night) and I woke up around 3am, ate breakfast and start packing my things.
I called up dad that morning confirming what time will they arrive. We then took a rest for a while, ate breakfast while watching Naruto Shippuden’s latest episode. Kojie took a catnap since he’s been lacking sleep lately while I arranged some of my stuff and watched the earliest episodes of Naruto Shippuden. We were surprised when we got knocks on the door, we thought it was the landlady; it was one of dad’s helpers. We started packing up and preparing the first batch of the move: Clothes, shoes, our kids dumped in a big toy kingdom plastic bag, bags. We then unloaded first everything and left to megamall to eat lunch and buy some additional home and bathroom needs and to pick up the bed mattress.
I was moved.I’m not close to my parents, and my family, but that day was quite happy. I’m that guy with spontaneity and humor combined and it quite showed up last weekend, which made my mum and dad laugh more than the usual. There are times when I’ll joke with my mom, holding her hand, “Oh, bawal magturo ha, hawak sa kamay ko baka mawala,” talking to her like a kid, dad gave a couple of laughs.
I was moved.
We dropped by the place, dropped off the mattress and went back to Makati city to transfer everything what’s left. Kojie’s big TV, cabinet and the rest of my “trash.”I was able to catch some catnap on our way back, I was groggy because I took Sinutab which really made me really sleepy. It was around 4pm and bought them snacks, half worried since hubby was still there. I told him to prepare and go so that he still have some time to rest, he then left and they made some measuring since dad will come back to add cabinets, etc. After a while, they left and went back home, while I was left with all the things, still in their plastics, boxes and bags. I took a quick shower and went to Sheenah’s Baby Shower. It was nice to catch up with them, and listening to a pregnant woman tell her stories really made me smile and “at peace.” We were joking like before and were happy that her husband got a new job. I was really thankful that after all the blessings God gave me, He’s now blessing the people I love; my friends.
I was moved.
Monday, it wasn’t the start of the week for me, yet. My week starts at night so we finished unpacking our things, cleaned the place and went off to buy some additional things needed at home. However, we didn’t expect it’ll take that long so we weren’t able to buy the things and just went back. I was so sleepy and asked him to wake me up. He still lack sleep, and since he doesn’t have work tonight, I asked him to wake me up. He woke me up, but I went back to sleep again, and woke up quite late. Good thing I wasn’t late. I still had time to eat “breakfast,” and prepare for my work. It was rather a tiring, but memorable, not to mention exciting weekend for us… oh, not to mentioned I was moved.

Habeebbeerdae Husband!
On with the story, I am posting my post birthday weekend blast with husband, and it was rather peculiar since “nothing” surprising to share, but still worth to share.
After my last day’s shift, I was supposed to meet husband’s mom; Tita Madel at Megamall, we arranged that I’ll be waiting for her since I out earlier from work than husband; I finished at 5am and they suggested I sleep first. I declined; because once I get to sleep, good luck waking me up. I just decided to find a store that was open that early and found myself hanging around McDo at Megamall, good thing their WIFI was up and running that time.
I waited for husband and tita at Mcdo, it was rather, unpleasant morning since there were lots of jejemons and emo punks around the seat I took; wearing black and all. Apparently, there was an autograph signing at Oddysey of a band that I don’t know where the hell they came from,. The door opened, and they went screaming like it’s the end of the world. I hope it was for them, call me mean, but if I’ll get a hold of that Deathnote; I’ll start with Jejemons and those emo punks.
On with the story.
Sunday, I went home and slept, woke up around brunch time, ate brunch with him at Chowking and went to prepare for our own date. Our original plan was to have dinner at Resorts World for their famous (at least for my workplace) buffet meal, however, since he was sleepy, we ended up eating at Wendys, it was fun because sitting beside us were 2 boxes of newly bought rubber shoes. We attended the mass at Greenbelt chapel, before…
Rewind
Remember I shoes issues? Here’s my birthday gift to him; I agreed to let him buy me a new pair of shoes. I chose the most inexpensive one since he’ll be buying one for himself as well, so on his birthday; we both have new pair of shoes. That’s before watching Shrek –Happily Ever After. We ended the day and went home, it was indeed a fun and memorable; in many ways than one.
(Not to mention the catastrophe that happened in his facebook because of that.)
Short story: his Facebook became our couple account; 1 account with both of our names on it, my friends thought it was my birthday so there were lots of wallpost greeting ME; and he’ll reply “It’s not his birthday, his birthday is on ….)

Casual Conversations; Husband Edition-Laugh Trip
Kojie's mom went here to join us celebrate Kojie's birthday celebration today (tomorrow is his birthday). Tita Madz then went to EDC; Esprit's sister clothing company and was shopping for clothes. I've been here since around 7am since I don't want to sleep, and I can't sleep 'coz if I do; I won't wake up. So I was kinda hungry and my stomach is already grumbling.
Kojie keeps on teasing me, poking me, and all those child-like teasing that they do. I asked him to stop because its creating some kind of reaction in my stomach, and its hurting mo.
Kojie is getting impatient
while his mom tries
several blouses on.
Vondraye: "Tumigil ka na please? Please lang... May please na oh? please? Nagloloko na tyan ko, please tama na, okay please?" (Serious, upset, snobbish tone)
Kojie:" Huh? Bakit? Anong joke ng tyan mo?"
TOINKS....
Seriously, its deadly corny, but my world turned upside down and laughed. He laughed at me LAUGHING hardly at his corny joke.
Maybe its because it was too corny, maybe because his cute smile, or maybe its just because I miss him....

Casual Conversations; i-shoes issues Edition
Within the week, husband told me that there was a Nike sale at Planet Sports Store, so before we watched Ironman 2, we window shopped around Glorietta for the sought after shoe sale. As usual, he's the one who became __ years younger and like a kid at Toy Kingdom, he roamed around checking the shoes. I saw a sample shoe at the pool of shoes and it really caught my attention, I don't know what you call my taste, but I want "eye catching" weird designs, and so I want to click the blue link "Like" under it. Hehehe...

My eyes glistened with GLEE! (just like the episode 14! hehehe), and husband was happy that I was able to"like" this shoe. When we turned it around....

*Insert murder background music here...
It's a Velcro-like whatever on the other side, and we both gasped with what we saw. There's no way I'll be wearing that shoe! Syet, and I thought; we thought I will have new pair of shoes that day, but no....
I just have this blog entry.

Some things (Kinda wordy; Sorry) updated with PICS!
- Red the Mod requested a review for the new Samsung N220. During the height of my hunt, I was actually eyeing for the Nokia laptop, since nobody is using that. However, I have to go through all that thingamajig to get that. I need it NOW. So we settle for a little less and finally came up to a decision to buy the Samsung Netbook. The sales clerk was amazing in explaining the features, and from the looks of it, it was pretty remarkable.

I chose the Samsung N220 over the N150 since the N220 works 12 hours vs the 8 hours of N150. It also has the added feature called Hyperspace, no this is not one of those Shaider thing, it’s when booting up, when you press F6, it will go to Hyperspace "Istant On", somewhat the Windows version of Samsung, so even if your Windows Crashed (from what the guy from Samsung explained) you’ll still be able to access Samsung Hyperspace, with almost all the features of Windows; Word, Internet, etc. Samsung also has a program for back up when it crashes, so it’s good. In terms of Service, they are able to provide service for the 1 year
warranty but after that, it’s the service center; the service center for Samsung is located at Greenhils; fair enough. Since the netbook runs of 1 G RAM with 250 memory, I’m happy about that, but need to update that soon. I’m quite impatient with slow system. Windows 7 Starter was installed, and husband I talked about upgrading that to Windows 7, however, the guy explained that Starter is the only applicable OS for netbooks due to memory and system issues. (I won’t debate with that)
That’s about it, I hope I was able to answer some of your FAQ’s, if you have additional queries, you can shoot me an email!
- Meanwhile, JR, posted a comment from my last entry, asking if I was busy; Yes I am, and after 2 more saturday classes. I'm done...yahoo!! Thanks btw for dropping a comment; it really meant a lot to me. Don’t worry, will be posting “something” interesting soon! Dedicated for you! P.s. I just read your reflection post; it’s not “walang kwenta.” You’re one of my top 10 bloggers I’m always looking forward to; seriously.
- The last post I posted was April 23, 2010 with the formula to get a new netbook. Since then, I’ve been quite busy because summer classes are only 6 sessions. I just finished the first part of my report, done my research, and just polishing my campaign. I can’t believe we’ve done a PR Campaign in less than 2 months. The reason why I was quite busy was the inconsistent schedule change; I got upset since the original plan was having our class moved to April 30, Friday. It was perfect! I already filed a leave Thursday night shift. However, Wednesday, they gave us an update that the Saturday class will pursue. I was planning not to attend the class anymore but my classmates/friends were insistent; classmate/friendship won.
- I was not able to leave early to attend my civic org’s swimming. It was a month long plan so that the oldies aka “Tanders” are able to attend, however, partly, I was blessed not to attend. Only 5 attended the swimming from the original 20ish. After my class, I then took a bus to Sta. Cruz Laguna, that was around 6pm, going to our headquarters “Bi El” (Bahay Laguna), located in Magdalena, Laguna, a couple minutes away from Liliw, Laguna. Yes, it’s that far. It was a weekend, so the line in the bus station was long enough, add traffic in Pansol, Calamba city for those who are having their weekend swimming; the travel was plain grueling. After I reached Sta. Cruz, Laguna, we were already used to ride taxicles (tricycles that you would rent on your own); last year, I can still remember paying 70 php for one trip, I was surprised that they’re asking 200 right now! I was able to find a cheaper one for 150php. Talk about bad-TRIP.
- I reached mydestination; Bi El aka Bahay Laguna. You can check the pictures here at my Multiply account. I was surprised to see 5 of my friends, in front of the house, in an open area, under the moonlight, with beddings and all; they’re gonna sleep outside. It was actually nice to do something like that for a change, plus, it was hot inside. We waited for our former president,Ate Macris, ate late dinner and did what we like most; bonding. (I'm actually after a different kind of "bonding" though… nyahaha!!) It was really relaxing to catch up with these people. I didn’t sleep since I still have to go to husband’s place that morning, so I just did my report and done some improvements. I woke up Ate Mac, after an hour, since she still has work that morning. We left early morning.
- I then went to San Pablo City, Laguna and arrived to hsuband’s place, husband washing our clothes and his mom cooking breakfast for us. Took a quick nap, tita woke me up for they will be coming with me, visiting my place for our town fiesta. It’s time to meet the parents; my parents. Nyahahaha!!! When she arrived, she immediately asked my mom if she can still remember her, and mom still does. (*Husband’s younger brother was my childhood bestfriend, and during lunch, both of our moms will visit us for our packed lunch). After we ate, took some pictures and went back to San Pablo, bought groceries and took a good night rest. So I guess it’s wedding next year! Hehe!
- We’re back to our “old” building and I'm not happy about it. When I got transferred to a new department, we were quite sad because we were just 10 in our team in a whole new building, with other department. However, later we realized it was a blessing; we were able to surf the net, do our own thing (we’re able to eat inside the office, laugh our hearts out, talk about everything, etc), and we’re away from all the stress(ed)ful people of our original department! However, since our team was part of a bigger department, we were asked by our head boss to go back here at the old building. Last Monday was our first day. I chose my desk to be far away from everyone, near the corner. ALAS! Since we all have our extensions, I was transferred where my monitor was facing the public. Now I have to surf the net more discreetly. Pft.
- I’m able to upgrade my work out plan and diet. Tuna sandwich, PB and J, popcorn (microwavable) and milk diet… ONLY. Yes, I’m only eating those I mentioned for the whole week for breakfast, break and lunch. I’m quite unhealthy during weekends, since during class, we’re already eating lunch and whatever was served; I EAT!
- Right now, good thing it wasn’t that busy here at work, but I’m not able to do my assignment as well. I finished this blog entry and also my ebook here at work; Darren Shan’s Cirque Du Freak I’m already reading Book 9- Killers of the Dawn. Anyway, that’s it for now, I’ll try to upload some pics later/sooner. Sorry for not updating that much guys…

Casual conversations, Bed Time Stories GP
WFT?!!?
I can’t believe he just shooed him away and went back to sleep!? Seriously!? I can still feel my
heart beating so fast, and that’s it, with all my might, I tried to scream, there are a couple of moans that left my mouth (moans of fear! Seriously?!), then, after a couple of seconds, he shook me.
I woke up...
Upset, he told me why I was so noisy and to keep quiet.
Can I say sorry that I’m having nightmares!? He just kept quiet, guilty, and make-up-hugged me.
I was crazy enough, because of the stress that day, (and because the gay couple Kuya vinz and Kuya Egay, and my churchmates at MCC advised me to be more understanding.), I just let it pass, I just joked about it and told him what happened, and we slept...
Now, the hug got a bit tighter and warmer.

Casual Conversations; Holy Week Edition with Husband
We were smiling while eating since it felt so homey that day. Breakfast beside each other, watching the latest Naruto Shippuden episode in front of his newly bought 32” LCD TV; it was heaven.

There are times when I brush my teeth, and then eat since after eating, I sleep right away. I know it’s kinda stupid, but I got me doing that years now. Then, I was cuddling him and teasing him and pretend kissing him, then suddenly he laughed; like a kid.
I was curious what made him laugh, was it my newly brushed teeth? something in my face? the smell of fresh breath? I did it again and he giggled like a kid again.
I asked him why and he can’t stop giggling, after a while, he calmed down, still a smile in his face, and said:
“Yung hininga mo amoy tuta naming nung bata kami!”
(Your breath smells like puppies when we were kids!)

I thought it was finished, but wait there’s more!
“Amoy santol! Amoy hininga talaga ng tuta! Awww!! Naalala ko tuloy yung mga tuta namin!”
(Smells like “santol”! Your breath really smells like our childhood puppies! Awww. I miss our puppies.. )
I was like… ... … … OKAY!?
Since we missed each other like that, I didn’t get mad, just gave him a raised eyebrows, and breathe in his nose again. He giggled some more. We finished our food, prepare for bed and went to cuddle some more and went to sleep, as usual , holding hands.
While he was sleeping, I looked at him with an evil eyes, and I told my self; memo to me: blog this tonight.
So here it is.

title-less
We're slowly removing "clutters" in our room, one, because the LCDTV is taking too much space and two, so that our move to our new abode is easier. We dismantled my computer and brought the 2 computer tables and one cabinet downstairs, and I thought, no wonder I feel claustrophobic whenever I'm in the room, now we have lots of space, my lips generated a smile, nose generated a feeling of relief, and my eyes not sore anymore. I then teased husband (don't ask how, its way too gross for you) and cornered him near the cabinet, then, from his movements trying to prevent me from getting near; the AVR fell from the top of the cabinet, trying to catch it, he got hurt.
You know how heavy an AVR is, you know how painful it is for the corner to hit your wrist. His facial expression for 3 seconds is enough for me to understand it's very painful. Here's the catch; for some reason, I find his "in pain" facial expressions funny, but this time, it's not.
I felt it; his pain, not physically but emotionally. I hugged him, I apologized, when we parted, I saw tears; its that painful. I asked him to sit down, I massaged it a bit, no more, I massaged it more and more and what hurts more? He told me if I was in his place, I would've walked out, packed my things and won't be speaking for him for a week. Partially true. I grew up in a house of anger, what can I do?
Anyway, while waiting for mom and dad, we laid down and the hum of tha A/C lulled him to sleep while still massaging his wrist. I really felt bad, I hurt the most wonderful person in front of me; and he didn't get mad.
After that, we were both back again, like two child hood sweethearts cuddling like kids. I turned on the water heater for my shower, I ought to stay a little longer in his arms. I tried to fight the urge; can't. I stayed a little longer...

what's better than make up sex? Make-uP SHOPPIng!
Yes, not known to everyone husband and I got into a mini microchip fight last week that forced me not to go home for a whole week, mother-in-law texting me, and most of my friends was worried; of course he was the most.
Anyway, I went back there last Saturday after my brother "kidnapped" me since we have "family emergency reunion"; apparently he just proposed to his 7, or 8-ish year girlfriend and they need to announce that back home at my hometown; Los Baños. Too bad brother's friend at Los banos slipped from his mouth and tsaraaan! Mom already knew about it.
One of the highlight of that day is that he asked to visit Maldita to check some clothes; I'm not a fan of "high end" clothing, rather go to Ukay and get those unique clothes without having to worry that someone out there might actually have the same clothes you have. Anyway, one of the things I check or go through the clothes are those on sale. Apparently, they were selling this big longsleeve for only 250, I could just ask my mom's friend to alter it and presto! It's mine. Oh, I also hunt for those "unusual" designs.
*Not bad for a 250 worth of clothing.
*look at those smiles!
and the rest of the shopping list.We then watched "The Box" after the tiresome shopping, was still hoping that I bought that pants, but moving on... I'm happy that I didn't encounter pathetic sales persons last night, everybody was well informed and won't kiss ass just to sell.
Then came Monday, was sick. Probably my body got shopping/sale allergy.

Casual Conversations; Movie Edition- Love of Siam
Casual Conversation 1
Mew:If we can love someone so much, how will we be able to handle it the day when we are separated?and if being separated is a part of life, and you know about the separation that well, is it possible, tong, that we can love someone and never be afraid of losing them?
At the same time i was also wondering is it possible that we can live our entire life without loving anyone at all?
That's my Loneliness.
I have lived with it now for 5 years, I know just how bad loneliness feels. I fear it will continue to get worse.
Tong: Mew...
*hug*
This is where Tong slept over Mew's place when they were grown up, too bad there weren't any jurjur moments. nyahahaha!! However, it was sweet and I appreciated the cinematography when Tong's mom was looking for him while Mew was talking about his lonliness.
Casual Conversation 2
Yin: It means "As long as you love, you will still have hope."
Mew: So are are you still hoping?
Yin: And should I hope?
Mew: Ying you are a good friend of mine...
This part is where I wanna go inside the screen and join the scene and scold Yin and shook her and say "haller!? Mew is one of us!? Duh?!" and tell Mew "and you heartbreaker!"
Casual Conversation 3
Mew: I'm not in the mood for singing anymore you wouldn't understand
Aex: Even though I may not understand, you are still my best friend, why do you always think that no one cares about you?
Another part where I want to enter the scene, and tell Mew "Oo na maganda ka na may Tong ka, pero tama na ang pagmomoda mo!" (Yes, you're beautiful because you have Tong, but stop acting like a star!)
Casual Conversation 4
Tong: Are you tired mom?
Sunee: of what?
Tong: Of everything.
Sunee: of course im tired what can i do? What about you how's everything?
Tong: Good I guess, I don't know it seems fine mom.
Sunee: Could you turn on the lights? Tong, can you help me put the ornaments on the tree?
Tong: Is this one good in here?
Sunee: Just put it around.
Tong: What about this one here instead mom?
Sunee: Just put it around.
Tong: What about the two of these together?
Sunee: Just put it around
Tong: Ok, what if I choose and you don't like it, will you get mad?
Sunee: Choose what you think is best for yourself.
Tong: Chooses guy ornament
This one is one of my favourite as well as this scene depicts the question if the mother is okay if her son chooses to be gay, and just like testing the waters, Tong still chose to be a guy; straight guy. This is when those gay stories ended up sad, but still good.
Almost everyone who watched this movie loved Mario Maurer aka Tong, but for me, for some reason, I like Aex better. I also like Yin for her strength and courage and her dedication for Mew, especially the 99 thornless roses, when she let go of Tong for Mew, when she comforted Tong when they were in a confrontation, when she got the "nose" part of the toy for Tong. I really think they should be together instead. I also love their OST, for some reason, their songs are really good (for me) since their songs are one of those sets that has been in my mp3 player since last year; never replaced never removed.

Best bride’s maidman
Yun pala feeling… (So that’s how it feels like..)
Sheenah, my ex gelpren turned brestpren just got married last February 28, 2010 2pm at Café Makiling at Los Banos, Laguna. I had a class the day before and since I came from my Friday shift, being awake for 24 hours, I have the rights to get at least 8 hours of sleep last Saturday night. I was awakened by husband Sunday morning to prepare for the wedding, however, since we’re living in the Philippines and specifically in Makati; for some odd reason; it was brown out. Hailing from Laguna, we were used to hot baths; even on summer, so I asked him to boil a pot of water. However, I didn’t get the chance to take a bath- the pot he used still stinks Paksiw from our landlady’s paksiw from last night. I don’t want to smell paksiw during her wedding. *TING!* I then got an idea; we went to Glorietta and went to uh.. “the competitor gym” to take a bath and since I was eyeing a polo shirt as well, I bought it on my way to the gym.
I left my mobile phone back in Makati, since I started the day rough. So when I came to the Café Makiling, she asked me if I received her text message, I told her I forgot my mobile phone and told me that I will be the best man, my chinito eyes widened, I smiled inside; because at the back of my mind, I was already expecting that. Okay, so I told husband (Jeff) to stand by and left him on one of the tables and went to talk to their pastor and asked what to do. Her sister was the bride’s maid, her dress was nice, and again, my chinito eyes widened, I smiled inside; because at the back of my mind, I wish I was wearing that dress.. Haha! Kiddin!
She invited of course, her family, her husband’s family their officemates and us, high school friends (and me the ex boyfriend turned gay! Haha!). It was romantic and simple in a hot afternoon, but we’re all happy. I am happy.
After the ceremony, it was lunch and I went to introduce husband to high school friends, and they finally got introduced. Jeff loves them and (I hope) they loved him as well. We enjoyed each other's company and I miss our bonding.
The plan was to continue eating the cake at their home, however, since Jeff’s mum was expecting us, we weren’t able to go with them.
To Sheenah and Dave, all the happiness in the World be with you!
Just remember, I’ll be and always be here…
Love you brestpren!

gift giving? is it really the thought that counts?
yesterday, kojie and i went on to do our Christmas shopping, (being the kuripot guy I am) because of the wednesday 5% discount on a certain mall. A couple of days before, I already made a list just to make sure I will be able to give the people I need to their respective gifts, and two, not to overbuy again(I buy extra couple of things just in case someone suddenly popped out of my mind). We first bought gifts for his loved ones, relatives to be exact. No gift for friends, nor team mates. After an hour, we were able to complete his list. Several gifts for his relatives, while I, went first to a certain toy store who sells "nice" pillows. One of the generic gifts I buy is pillow, cute, cuddly, and just like the mushy text message goes; something you can cry on, and you can cuddle. This year, several people added to my list; my classmates from my masters in graduate school that I got to build friendship with.
Kojie's eyes widened as he was surprised that I bought almost 15 or 20 small pillows. A couple for my team, a couple from my old colleagues, from my ex-housemates, friends from my hometown org, and a couple more here and there. When I was picking on the pillows, i took the liberty of looking at the messages and checking every now and then just to make sure that the right pillow will go to the right person.
in the middle of the big bags, buying gifts, checking the cheapest of them all, i thought...
is it really the thought that counts? after buying some shirts for a couple of higher/more special person in my heart, is it really th thought or the amount?
It struck me, thinking how will they be able to appreciate the gift if they saw that the tag shows an unfamiliar clothing line, and thinks that it was just bought off from a cheap store. How will you measure their appreciation by their thank you's or smiling face, or the "wow" face when you give them their gifts?
A while ago, I was in a coaching session with my team manager; and i got the answer; funny thing is, it came from me.
People who you know, or knows you, not necessarily close to you, sometimes they are aloof with you, but you just don't have to take notice of it.
just give the gift, it'll make you feel better; the feeling of happiness of gift giving, or giving per se. It's up to them if they'll think you as show off, suspicious, plastic or whatever, but you just shouldn't care anymore.
Since basically, that's the spirit of Christmas right? gift Giving.
Or, you can go with the other saying in a song; "give love on Christmas day."
vondraye, just thinking aloud
